This program is the Industry required pathway to the basic competencies needed for middle and upper level accounting jobs in all areas of commerce and industry. Students will continue to develop basic accounting skills and learn preparation of income tax returns, managing budgets and forecasts, preparation of financial reports for a reporting entity, implementing and maintaining internal control procedures, and providing management accounting information.
Duration: 52 weeks (40 weeks face to face study + 12 weeks holiday break)

This course structure must be followed by those students who have successfully completed FNS40615 – Certificate IV in Accounting qualification.
